The Zalen'Gam, a verdant Kuki hills,
Where ancient forests whisper tales,
We are the warriors of our ancestral land,
Stand steadfast, where honor prevails.
With every heartbeat, with every breath,
We, the Kukis, defend our land, till our last death.
Through the turmoil and strife, we the Kuki's rise,
Minority in numbers, but warriors in might,
We stand undaunted, ready to fight.
The Meetei majority, with state power and machinery might,
With state armories gleaming, and one sided media's spins,
Their sponsored aggression, we face in the fight.
We, the Kukis, fight with courage, for our ancestral land,
The Meetei's favor, the state's dark hand,
Aided by power, but lack of right,
In the darkest of hours, we find our light,
Through every strife, through every tear,
For the land we love, for all we hold dear.
So, let the world witness, our unwavering stand,
For my land and for my nation, hand in hand,
Till my last breath, till the end of days,
For freedom, for justice, my souls will strive.
We, the Kukis, forever, in glory we'll raise.
With every dawn, we rise anew.
