Zale'n-Gam: A name that is so deeply etched in our hearts, A name that will so closely be inscribed in history with our revolution! A name that will restore the gruesome yet benevolent sacrifices of our heroic martyrs. A name that will be echoed across this nation as a sovereign land! A name that will free my people from all bondages they've been chained to. A name that will fulfil the aspirations and dreams of my long forgotten-beloved people! Zale'n-Gam: A land where the flags of freedom will flutter with pride and dignity; not of oppression and subjugation. A land where my people will live with integrity and in unification; not deprived of their fundamental rights and divided on ethnocentric grounds! A land where my children will wake up from their slumber and have a place to call home; not chased after, mercilessly killed and be called foreign in their land. A land where my sister will be safe to wander across the length and breadth of the land; not molested and brutally raped! A land where my brother will run the race of life with books and pens on his hand in pursuit of truth and knowledge; not guns and bullets seeking for vengeance and blood.A land where my leaders will LEAD with vision and preachers will PREACH the truth; not self-vested interests and half-baked hollowed teachings! Zale'n-Gam: A soil where my leaders will sow the seeds of love, peace and brotherhood; not of hatred, violence and enmity. A soil where the souls of my valorous martyrs will rest in a land that is mine; not left unattended at a morgue in an unknown land! A soil where my unwearied farmers will grow their crops with perennial fresh streams flowing from Mt. Simtongbung and Mt. Gamvetmoul; not with waters from rivers of blood from the valley of death. A soil where my people will be governed under their own administration and be free to choose their rightful representatives; not forced to and dictated upon! A soil where my people will excel in striving towards a prospering economy, imparting quality education, encouraging entrepreneurship, and safeguarding an independent and unbiased journalism. A soil where my leaders will pioneer in championing people-centric politics, encourage sustainable agriculture, promote commerce and industry sectors, small and medium enterprises, handloom industries and traditional craftsmanship! This is the promised land of my people- Zale'n-Gam: God's Own Land!
