The governance was dim, like the night,
The crescent moon appeared indifferent,
Crowds hustling and bustling in a hurry,
Wretched things about to unfold, inapparent.
Then, against mistreatment and injustice,
There gathered the fearless, valorous men,
For their discredited rights and justice,
Unarmed and innocent against armed men.
Lo! Down they go, my fellow countrymen,
Taking bullets to the ground, helpless,
Shot by their fellow countrymen stupidly,
A heartbreaking massacre to witness.
His eyes closed, I think, the Almighty,
Watching His people's spilt-dribbled blood,
Hearing the outcries of many,
Now we pray that in vain, no blood flows.
Belonging to books only, Tales of Massacre,
Thoughts now in my heart, this Massacre.
