Her wandering soul, seeing the continual barbaric and savagery crime of extracting her brain from her head by her arsonists even after they burned her to death, must be expecting and crying helplessly to the people of her country to demand justice on her behalf. To her dismay, her nation turned deaf and blind to her voice and helpless cries for justice.
Women from Kuki-Zo are brutally murdered, paraded naked, gang raped, publicly molested and offered up to be raped, made to witness their children, husband and father being mob lynched or brutally murdered. They are forced to flee from the house they for years nurture and care for to make it a home. Her offspring are framed as illegal immigrants. Her heart wrenches in pain seeing her children or her dreams shattered. She does not have the luxury of worrying about her own health when having a meal twice a day itself becomes a struggle. Her daily struggles, mourning and worries remain unabated, but no one come forth to show her the hope for a better future while she continues be a tool to show the DOMINANCE of their enemy if caught. Don’t she deserve justice?
Where is the Nation Commission for Women and Child Welfare? Where is the Minister of Women and Child Development ? Where is the National Human Right Commission? Where is our PRIME MINISTER? Are Kuki-Zo women not women from India to whom they have the responsibility of not only protecting but also to seek justice when necessary on their behalf? Where is the national media, why did the nation stop demanding justice for her? Why can’t they empathise her? Is it because she belongs to the Kuki-Zo?
Judging from the barbaric and savage nature of their crimes, one will not be wrong in concluding that Arambai Tenggol is an organisation of psychopath serial killers who find pleasure in tormenting their victims before and after killing them. Unlike psychopath criminals in those documentaries, the government and law enforcement agencies protects them rather than hunting them down. They are celebrated as heroes by their society. Amidst their hate for Kuki-Zo community, they forget even enemy forces don’t kill each other in such barbaric and savage way, let alone the innocent civilians.
While innocents Kuki-Zo civilians continue to become their victims, the government of India could not even impose AFSPA in the state let alone declare them a terrorist organisation under UAPA. Thousands of paramilitary forces deployed in the state are turned into mannequins for display purposes only. Masking them as a cultural organisation, the Arambai Tenggol are given a free rein to attack and commit heinous crimes against the Kukis with no fear and accountability. Two of the most powerful men on earth watch their barbaric and savage crimes in their courtyard like its a thriller movie where they have no responsibility of stopping the psychopath villains.
Why is there always a coincidence of attack by Arambai Tenggol in Kuki-Zo villages whenever the tide turns against Mr. Biren singh? After a rally organised by KSO and KukiI innpi to demand for a probe in his role on the ongoing conflict, the state witnessed an attack on Kuki-Zo villages in Leimakhong area. Now Kuki-Zo villages in Jiribam district comes under attack by Arambai Tenggol on the day a petition was filed at Supreme Court on the same demand. Is it a mere coincidence or a threat to the Kuki-Zo people to refrain from demanding the probe?
Justice demanded by Kuki-Zo community in the form of separate administration is for their survival, protection, safety and the right to live with dignity, of their community in general and their women and children in particular. If the manner in which crimes are committed against them don’t convince you, God forbid, experiencing the tormented suffering of the victims yourself alone can convince you. Thus, the question is would you like to be the victim of this psychopath criminals’ savagery and barbaric crimes? If no, then their demand is justified.
Like we as children question our teacher how could the world have allowed the Holocaust against Jews by Hitler, our future ancestors will ask the same question to you all. How can a powerful country like India allow for ethnic cleansing against its own citizens and savage and barbaric crimes against the Kuki-zo and their women unabated? Fellow Indians, how will you answer them?
