CLAIM:
A valley based newspaper published in Bengali script in its September 26 edition has reported a gunfight between Kuki militants at ‘Jalengphai’ (Zalenphai) village near Torbung ag around 6.30 PM on September 25.
FACT:
There was no such firing that had happened in Churachandpur district on September 25, not even in the last five months since the ethnic cleansing against Kuki people by Meiteis started. Rather, it was a gunshot on the Meiteis terrorists’ drone flying over the Kuki Zo territory.
