In Memory of the Eleven Hmar-Kuki Pasalpha

On the Eleventh of November twenty twenty-four, a somber date,
Eleven Hmar-Kuki Pasalpha lives taken, souls taken too soon,
Under the shadow of Jiribam’s dark moon,
Fallen yet not forgotten, their courage remains,
Amidst a darkness of sorrow and pain.

In the hills of Kuki-Zo's homeland, echoes of cries,
Brave hearts of Eleven Hmar-Kuki, silent now, still,
For the sons who were lost under merciless skies.
By hands of oppression, so brutal and cold,
Their memories live, as we speak their name.

The Eleven Pasalpha stood as symbols, of unity, strength and pride,
For our people, our history, they fought and they died,
We mourn their loss, but we honor their stand,
For justice, for peace, they took a hand,
And their sacrifice lights up the night.

Though the storm of injustice tries to consume,
The light of our Eleven Pasalpha, will pierce through the gloom.
They fell for the Kuki, they fell for the Zalen'Gam,
Eleven Pasalpha lives gone, but their strength remains,
A promise of courage through all our pains.
