O Lord, God of Hosts

O Lord, God of Hosts, hear my voice.
I kneel before You and pray for my leaders.

Grant them discernment, as You bestowed upon king Solomon,
That they may guide us with clarity and righteousness.

Instill in them humility and love for their people,
As You did with Moses,
That they may serve selflessly,
Always mindful of those they lead.

Endow them with the wisdom and courage You gave to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
That they may stand firm in truth and justice,
Unafraid in the face of trials.

Guide them as You guided Moses on Mount Sinai,
Instructing them in the ways of righteous leadership,
That they may lead us with wisdom and grace.

Encourage them when they grow weary,
As You renewed the spirit of Elijah,
That they may find strength to carry on.

Be with them wherever they go,
As You were with Joshua,
Leading them into victory and peace.

Stop them when they stray from Your will,
As You halted Balaam,
That they may not act against their people.

O Lord, God of Hosts,
Be with us as our Guide and Navigator.
Lead us, as You led the Israelites from Egypt,
A pillar of cloud by day,
A fire of light by night.
