In such a heartbreaking dreams sitting in a classroom reminiscent of my classmates Of whom I dearly missed beyond words Life takes us apart by destiny not by choice, As most of us can relate this hard reality today. When I wake up I can't embrace this separation it hurts when life is too short to say goodbye too often. Yet now, when separation is to protect those whom I cared for Where the battle's harsh wind of Imphal blows us apart With hearts heavy and no force to unite We must part, For peace requires a change of heart. With no trust remains in their hearts A separation forced by fate's decree, Yet in our parting, may understanding be. For deep within, we're all human the same, Seeking peace in a world aflame. May hope replace the wounds we bore, No more the clash of sword and gun, Our battles in the setting sun. With this farewell, let's turn the page, And hope for a world free of rage. In separation, let there be a chance, For unity, love, and a lasting dance. Goodbye, dear foes, in this fading light, May peace prevail, as we sailed across the rivers We say farewell forevermore from a distant sigh across the hills.
