THE TALE OF OUR PEOPLE, OUR LAND

A year passed and I'll never forget the tales based on true incidents,
the tales which I'll tell my children, and grandchildren someday.
A tale of war where a father has to become a mother in some,
And a mother has to become a father in the other.
A tale of war which is lived every day,
A tale of motherhood where a mother has to bring her child into the world,
not in her home but relief camp, though the joy of a child being born is shared.
A tale of war where many children become responsible in their families despite their young age.
It is a tale of war where many children lost their mother and father.
A tale of war where a child has to become uneducated.

This tale will forever be our tale.
The tale of hardship we faced for the love of our people.
The tale of pain and sorrow we suffer for our land.
The tale of grief we engulf to protect our land.
The tale of wounds we heal because of being KUKI still we are proud standing tall to face more.
The tale we will forever tell our younger generations and the tales that will awaken their knowledge and wisdom toward our people and our land.
This tale will always be there when people will ask how we fought hard for our land and our rights. These tales will always be unforgettable.
