Crushed beneath the weight of conflict's grief,
In ethnic strife, loved ones were taken away,
Their laughter silenced, their smiles gray,
Their dreams and hopes, like autumn leaves.
We weep for what's been lost,
For love, for life, for what's been the cost,
In memories, we hold them tight,
Though gone, they'll never fade.
Solutions only will heal the wounds of the past,
And bring peace to the present at last,
I pray the sacrifices of those gone guide us,
On our way and lead us to a brighter day.
May we learn from the tears we've cried,
May unity and love conquer the pain,
And plant resilience in our hearts inside,
Guiding us to a brighter dawn again.
May their legacy lives on,
Like a flame of hope in the darkest night,
Their memories will inspire us to strive,
For a world where love and peace survive.
