Valley of Death

Once an invaluable star in Asia,
Now tarnished throughout the world.
A peaceful land of pleasure,
Where mother nature herself charms,
A land where forefathers unite
In underrooted bonds and forge
A name: Land of Jewels.

But now,
A VALLEY of DEATH,
Where a stream of blood flows,
Where human death is a step,
Where brainwashed arms of juveniles govern,
Bending with caps in hand.
Where history is disgracefully dispensed.

In you, the only place
Where the idea of genocide materializes,
Where my loved one is mercilessly stripped,
burned, butchered, and shot to death.
Where a woman waits for her martyred son,
A girl waits for her beloved brother,
And children wait for their heroic father who won't return.
Where a lodging place was ignited,
And the red siren never rang.

And at the end of the day,
All conflicting ideologies might settle,
But the red stream stains beneath your soil
Will never be washed away.
You're no longer a Land of Jewels,
But indelibly a VALLEY of DEATH.
